Let's talk about Friendships

I know, friendships come in all shapes and sizes but I have to wonder, what does it mean? AI says, "A friend’s someone you trust and confide in, someone whose presence you enjoy, and who stands by you in both good and bad times. It’s not just about how often you interact, but the quality of the connection and the mutual support you provide each other."

I don't know. I had a nice three week visit from a man, Louie, who I contracted to remodel my shower. I confided in him what I preferred in color and texture. We had to take a break in the remodel to wait for some gasket material to come in, that was a hard time as my husband and I were forced to live in a house that clearly was going through some kind of construction.. Louie and I texted back and forth a couple of times about the project. I gave him some books for his 7 year old daughter. He supported me in my desire for a shower I didn't have to get down on my hands and knees to clean. Once I left to go to lunch and let him stay here to work, so I did trust him and I did like chatting with him about things other than the shower. I guess we are friends. No?
